Research across the nation to support DST is ongoing at the moment by the National Writing Project. The strongest support comes from www.digitalstorytelling.org which is sponsored by Digital Storytelling, Inc. a non-profit organization. Some key findings are available at http://www.digitalstorytelling.org/news/marchapril2003NL.htm . A summary of the 2003-03 FCPS Digital Storytelling Pilot project can be found at http://teach.fcps.net/trt18/DSTpilotsummary.doc. Of those involved in the pilot, 100% believe the DST process can be done in the classroom.
