Long Description:

This workshop will take you step by step in a how to teach lesson plan for a style of poetry. During the process technology that is used will be demonstrated with lots of hands on time. You will also learn how to use Microsoft Movie Maker to create the digitized final product!!

Research:

The digital story method has been used in a variety of formats and has shown that with some students that multimedia increases student involvement in the writing process. This method uses pictures to brainstorm and kodak has done research into the uses of pictures in the writing process.
