In this lesson you will learn about opinion writing through forms such as editorials, columns and editorial cartoons. This interactive website gives descriptions of the different type of opionion pieces and models of these types of writing. It may also guide you through the process of creating an opinion piece of your own. |
Once you choose the form: editorial, commentary, or cartoon, read the introduction and how to write sections. Then use Inspiration or some other graphic organizer to organize your thoughts for the piece you will write.
