Have you asked, “What reading software is available that meets my students needs;” “What reading activities are available on the web;” or “What computer programs or activities are available to help my struggling readers?”

Answers Have Arrived!

This website is designed based on the Classroom Literacy Guide to give classroom teachers specific practical activities to use in the classroom or in the lab with a whole class, small groups or individual students.

The Classroom Literacy Guide is a rollup of best practices in literacy, consistent for all grade levels, that is put into a form useful for instructional planning, self-evaluation, peer-mentorship and staff development. It is the "how to" for a good literacy-based program.

We have also cross-referenced each lesson based upon content area and software application. You can search for effective, literacy-based lesson by any of these descriptors by using the links to the left. Each page will also allow you to search for lessons by keywords. You will find that at the bottom of every page.

If you need more assistance, you can look through the "How to Use this Site" link on the left of every page. You can also contact us.
