offers a purpose for the website and information to give you an
overall picture of the purpose of the program. The mission and goals
of STLP are provided as well as reminders of upcoming events. The
page also includes a few statistics of our current participation and
contact information for myself,
Julie Gaskin, the District STLP Coordinator. The intended audience of this website is Fayette County Public School STLP coordinators. It is also visited by STLP students (mostly high school) who work with the coordinator to meet project goals, other STLP groups throughout the state of Kentucky, district administrators, and parents. |

| Gold and Silver Schools | ||
| This is a list of all of the Fayette County Public Schools and their current STLP coordinator and it indicates which schools have achieved Gold or Silver status by meeting the appropriate criteria . This also identifies which schools may appreciate an offer of help to meet these criteria. If a school wishes to achieve this status, further information if offered under Coordinator Info. | ||

| School Plans | ||
| To the public, this offers a list of the projects in which our STL programs are involved and it helps STLP coordinators gather ideas from other groups. The less obvious purpose of this page is to let each coordinator know their project information, registration, and purchase orders have been received and processed. | ||

| The purpose for this section, accessed by a tab at the top of the page, is to list good news items which have been shared with the community in other venues. | Opportunities | ||
| The purpose for this section, accessed by a tab at the top of the page, is to gather project ideas in which STLP students and coordinators may choose to participate. Many of these ideas were publicized through email and are posted to help coordinators return for further information. Most of these ideas are contests with deadlines. Past opportunities are listed because they offer good ideas and it will help us prepare for some of the opportunities that will repeat next school year. | ||

| STLP Online Activities Reporting Form | ||
| A required form used to report current activities of each STLP group to the FCPS district office. Please use a different submission for each project. You may want to see what others have submitted by clicking School Plans. | ||
| STLP Order Form | ||
| A required form (Excel document) used to place an order request to spend the project funds received by each STLP group who submits required documents and who attended the Technology Fair last school year. | ||
| STLP Registration Form | ||
| A required form used to register your school STLP group with the district. This helps us create an email distribution group to make sure you receive updated information as well as letting the district know your intent to participate in the STEM Fair. | ||
