Grade-level categories (This is based on the
grade-level of the highest grade student participating in the group.):

The video is to be a Public Service Announcement. A PSA is a commercial that is persuasive and precise. | |||||

This may be an individual or group project. | |||||
|
4. |
Two videos per category may be submitted. An elementary school may submit two Primary PSA videos and two Intermediate PSA videos. | |||||
|
5. |
The video may be 60 seconds or less. Points will be deducted for going over the time limit. | |||||
|
6. |
File format should be one of the following: AVI, MPEG, MOV, WMV. | |||||
|
7. |
The product needs to be registered online between November 26, 2007 and January 11, 2008 at: http://teach.fcps.net/stem/Registration. | |||||

Front CD/DVD label includes: school name, district name, title of video, category, hardware and software used, and file format. | |||||

A STEM Student Cover Sheet is required to be completed by each student .Typed copy preferred (12 pt. Arial font). As you type on the form provided, the boxes will expand. . If writing answers, expand boxes before printing and please print neatly. Attach the proper rubric with the cover sheet(s). Place these in a small envelope. |

Each product category needs to be submitted in one paper envelope. The front of the envelope should have the school coordinator name, school name, and complete address (where an address usually appears for mailing an envelope). The back of the envelope, on the top, needs to have the school name, district, and grade level printed clearly (so as you stand the envelope on the bottom edge, the label can be read). Do not mix categories in the same envelope. The small envelope with STEM Student Cover Sheets and the rubric should be inside this envelope. | |||||

Consents for persons in the video and/or for shooting on location is on record and filed at the school. | |||||
