Interactive Content Information - 2009

  
Purpose: Students demonstrate communication, productivity, and innovation through the use of software or programming language when creating interactive content. This includes Flash, games, student-written programs, and web delivered systems where others can interact.
    

1.

Grade-level categories (This is based on the grade-level of the highest grade student participating in the group.):
  • Primary Elementary (K-3)

  • Intermediate Elementary (4-5)

  • Middle School (6-8)

  • High School (9-12)

2.

Interactive products may be submitted into one of the following categories:
  • Instructional:  original interactive product  created with software by the student designed with an instructional purpose/use
  • Entertainment:  original interactive product  created with software by the student designed with an entertainment purpose/use

3.

Two products per category may be submitted. An elementary school may submit two Primary products and two Intermediate products per category.

4.

Each product needs to be registered online using the Product Registration Form by February 27, 2009.
  • Product Registration - This is an InfoPath form. Please fill out one form for each product. The form is located on the Registration page of the STLP SharePoint.
  • The STLP Coordinator from each school is responsible for registration and the delivery of products.

5.

The product needs to be submitted via web link on the registration form or delivered on a CD or DVD to IAKSS, Annex 306 by February 27, 2009 at 5:00 PM.

6.

All students practice ethical, safe, and legal behavior.
