Objective: The student will, with assistance, evaluate information gathered from the Internet for relevance to a topic studied in a core content area.

Sample Activity: Students look at information on an Internet site and determine, through discussion, whether the information is pertinent to the topic being researched. (Example: Students are studying celebrations of a holiday around the World. They want to limit the information to the study of Thanksgiving. They will discuss their choices and evaluate each site for relevance.)
