Sample Activity:
The students will write a letter to the principal to persuade him/her to allow students to take one day each month to participate in community service activities. The student will practice double clicking words, clicking the mouse button, holding it down, and dragging to highlight phrases, sentences, or paragraphs to format the text. The formatting could be used to emphasize certain words or phrases in the paragraph. After completed, the letters will be delivered to the principal for consideration.
