Objective:  The student will independently gather information from the Internet and will defend a position with facts from the information gathered.

Resources:  Computer, Internet access

Sample Activity: 

The student will defend a position dealing with the issue of price supports for tobacco and whether they should continue or be ended. The data gathered should clearly give factual support to the position taken by the student.
