Skill T5.9.1: Communicate using effective and correct grammar and spelling

Grade Level: Sixth

Objective: Students will use the tools to correct grammar and spelling when communicating electronically. Students must adhere to the school’s AUP.

Academic Expectations: 2.19, 2.17

Resources: Grammar Resources

Sample Activity: 

Students will send an e-mail to an ambassador at the UN requesting information about a specific environmental problem in their country and how they think the UN can address that problem.

Recommended Core Content: Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, Practical Living/Vocational Studies, Arts & Humanities
