Skill T5.1.7: Input alphabetical text at rate equivalent to current handwriting speed

Grade Level: Sixth

Objective: Students will input text at a rate of 100% that of present handwriting speed

Academic Expectations: 1.16

Resources: UltraKey Software, CyberKey Resource Book

Sample Activity: 

Handwrite sentences, nursery rhymes, paragraphs, and then type them. Then compare handwriting and typing speeds according to the chart on p. 17 on Kentucky CyberKeys.
