Grade Level: Seventh

Objective: The student will be able to independently design a query to sort data to solve problems.

Resources: Microsoft Access

Academic Expectations: 1.16, 5.5

Sample Activity: 

The student will use data complied for a content area to design a query to sort that data to answer some question. For Example: In a related core content area, such as Social Studies, students will gather specific information about several countries. Students will share this information with other students in the class. Students will be responsible for entering this data into a database with teacher assistance. Students will manipulate the data to determine relationships among the countries.
