Objective: Student will create a database and will locate information in records, fields and files.

Resources: Computer, database software

Sample Activity: 

The student will upon completion of a unit of study on the Civil War, create a database of battles, geographic regions where battles occurred, general, wounded, killed. They will be asked to select information from fields and records to create a report.
