Objective:  Students are able to search library catalog using Boolean logic with two keyword and find information that is current and relevant.

Academic Expectations:  1.1, 1.2, 1.4, 1.11, 1.16, 1.10, 5.2, 5.3, 6.1, 6.3

Resources: Online Library Catalog, + commercial logic software

Sample Activity:

Use Online Library Catalog to demonstrate searching for two words… (e.g.: Bears and fiction *Washington not George *cougars or mountain lions) Orally compare the differences in the lists and the information as it relates to what the students wants to know.
