Objective: When hearing and reading information, students name appropriate and important words (3 or fewer) as well as name other keywords that mean the same as the original keywords and use them to find predetermined information .
Academic Expectations: 1.1, 1.2, 1.4, 1.11, 1.16, 1.10, 5.2, 5.3, 6.1, 6.3
Resources: On-line Library Catalog, Electronic Encyclopedia
Sample Activity:
Students are given a broad topic and use it to generate a list of keywords. The keywords will be used to find one or more useable fact from an electronic reference source.
