Objective: The student will be able to generate at least three keywords to use for research on the Internet.

Sample Activity:
The teacher will generate a class discussion on a class theme to illicit topics for research. The teacher will choose one topic and model keywords for a possible search for additional information. Using a search engine such as Yahooligans, the teacher will demonstrate to the students what results these keywords produce using "and, or" to narrow and widen the search. (Ex. "endangered and species", "drama or theater") The students will then choose a topic and generate a list of at least three keywords to use for research.
