Objective:  Student will independently create a database and will locate information in records, fields and files.

Resources:  Computer, database software

Sample Activity: 

The student will upon completion of a unit of study on local governments, will create a database of officials, duties, offices, and budgets. They will be asked to select information from the records to merge with a word processor.
