Objective: When given keywords, topics, or subjects, students name additional related words and use all combinations of these words to locate current and relevant information for a writing a portfolio piece.

Resources: Encyclopedia, Dictionary, Atlas, Specialized Subject sources, Almanacs, Statistics, and Periodical sources. Include searching of WWW using an appropriate search engine. (electronic references)
