Objective: The student will demonstrate appropriate use of the mouse (double click, right click, and drag) while using a computer to develop a portfolio piece.

Sample Activity:
The student will use the right click function of the mouse to cut, copy, and/or paste while typing and revising any piece of writing for their Writing Portfolio. The student will also double click to select single words to format text, and click and drag to highlight phrases or sentences to format text. The formatting of text should bring appropriate emphasis to the text as a mode of communicating their message.
