Sample Activity:
The students will compose an article describing proper ergonomics for computer use for a computer lab handbook. The handbook will be used when students first come to the computer lab. The techniques should include at least seven of the following: sit straight with your back against your chair; do not slouch; sit six to eight inches from the machine with your body in front of the "j" key ; use correct hand/finger positions; keep elbows in a relaxed natural position; elevate your wrists; place keyboard and mouse properly at your workstation; use two hands; try not to look at your fingers while typing.
