Objective: The student will be able to assist in choosing the information in order to identify the purpose and audience within a given assignment.
Academic Expectations: 1.16
Resources: Computer, application software (based on the assignment below) MS Publisher, Scanner, Digital Camera.
Sample Activity: Using a teacher created assignment, the students will identify the purpose for the assignment and the audience for whom it was written. (Example: Students will be shown a teacher created brochure on Caves in Kentucky. Students will be asked to identify the purpose for the brochure and audience for whom it was created.)
