School, is a "must read" for new
teachers. This site provides you with notes about the
major points in the book. This would be a good site to
go to after reading the book, to help you summarize and pull
it all together. While you're at it, take a few

This online newsletter has advice and tips
for all teachers, and includes a component specifically for
new teachers. There's a newsletter to which you may
subscribe and receive via e-mail.

This international resource allows you to
participate in chats with other teachers and educational
professionals. This is best used from home because it
could get time consuming. There are special columns by
