Submission Guidelines

   

Student Writing

 

P

Student writing files should be saved as Microsoft Word format (.doc) with coversheet
 

P

If art work accompanies student writing, please name the art file the same as the student writing file. Submit as a .jpg, .tiff or .gif.  No bitmaps please.

Work should be the student's original writing.
 

P

Teachers are the only people who can submit work to be published. Please e-mail the student writing and coversheet to Leanna Prater.
 

P

Writing must be proficient or distinguished work according to the state holistic scoring guide.  A group of reviewers will make final decisions on which pieces are selected for publication.

Students need to have signed parental permission to have work displayed on the internet with name, grade and school. Form must filed with teacher or school and available for review if needed.

Artwork must be student original work.
