The book I read is One Day In The Tropical Rainforest. The author is Jean Craighead George. The characters are Tepui and Dr. Juan Rivero. Tepui is brave and compassionate. Dr. Rivero is a geologist who studies the rainforest. It takes place in a tropical rainforest in Brazil.

       In this story, people with chainsaws wanted to kill the rainforest so they can build houses. Tepui and Dr. Rivero needed to find a nameless butterfly to save the rainforest. If Dr. Rivero could find a nameless butterfly a person would buy the rainforest, and name the butterfly for his daughter. You need to read the book to see if Dr. Rivero finds the butterfly. I recommend you should read this book because, it’s entertaining and teaches you different things about the tropical rainforest.
