Here’s a book I really enjoyed. I think you will too. It’s called Return To Holliday Inn. The main characters are Dr.Greenbraiar , Hamlet, Howie, Chester, and Haroled. Most of the adventure begins at Chateau Bow-Wow in other words Holliday Inn an animal shelter. In the middle of the book the characters except for Jill, Daisy, and ‘Dr.Greenbriar find them selves on the streets looking for Archie. At the end of the book they find Archie at Sunnydale Nursing Home. This great adventure all happens in present-day time. In the beginning of this book they get a new guest at Holliday Inn named Georgette. She is a little poodle. They become good friends. Now let me tell you a little bit about each character. Hamlet, Hamlet and his owner Archie always go on vacation together, but one day Archie said ‘that Hamlet couldn’t go.’ Dr.Greenbriar a rude cruel owner of Holliday Inn. Howie, Haroled, and Chester, they’re good friends, and they’ve been to Holliday Inn before, but this time is the worst of all. In the middle of the book all the characters hear Rosebud’s soul talking to them except for Jill, Daisy, and Dr.Greenbriar. In the climax of the book the animals escape from Holliday Inn. They go looking for Archie Hamlet’s owner. At the end of the book they find Archie, but he’s at Sunnydale Nursing Home. Archie apologizes to Hamlet for lying. I liked this book because I like mysteries. I also like trying to figure out things before they happen. I would recommend this book to my brother because hi likes to read a lot of mystery books, for example he reads a lot of Goose Bumps. If this doesn’t sound mysterious enough then check out other mysteries books by James Howe’s books. |
