Have
you ever seen a ghost before? Melissa Dryden has. She is a seventeen-year-old
girl that is a daughter of a wealthy family. She lived in a gray, old mansion
that is located on a scary street called, Fear Street. A street that many rich
people likes to live because some of the houses are really big, expensive, and
old looking. She was never scared of the name of her street, but she was
scared of the Fear Street prowler, a person that goes into people houses
through their windows. Melissa has never been scared of ghosts, but when she got a car as her birthday present and she started driving it, the car seems to want to drive by it self. That is not the only thing that is mysterious. On her birthday an unseen hand ripped open all of her presents. Someone is trying to push her out of her bedroom’s window. She’s so scared of all the mysterious things that had happened to her. One day she saw a guy in her room. He was pale and Melissa could sees through him. He said his name was Paul and he coming back to kill her because she had killed him. Melissa thinks that everything is wrong because she doesn’t know anybody named Paul and she never killed anybody. Now Melissa has to figure out what Paul wants from her, where he came from, and why he says that she killed him. My favorite part in Haunted is when Melissa found out who Paul is and what he wanted from her. I like that part because Melissa finally finds out what Paul wants, she can put her troubles away. I would recommend this book for ages 8 or older because there are some violent parts and some parts are just too scary for younger children. If you like Fear Streets books, R.L Stine or any horror books, then you might want to check Haunted out. On the scale of 1-10 I would say this book is a 9 because Haunted is awesome. You would enjoy Haunted. |
