Rosie has to practice for field day but Sally keeps beating her until the costume contest. The characters are Rosie, Jane, Rosie’s mother, her grandma, Sally, Ben, Mr. Mac, Marco, Chris, Freddy, and Sally’s mom.  It takes place at Rosie’s school.  I like this book because she keeps trying and she never gives up.  Read this book because it has a surprise ending and it’s about field day.
