Do you like dogs?
If you do, you need to read the realistic fiction story Ginger Pye.
It’s about a little dog. Eleanor Estes wrote this fantastic
story. If you like adventurous stories you need to read this book right
away.
The setting of my story is in a small town in New York called Cranbury.
In the story two years pass by. The main characters of the story are the
dog Ginger, his master Jerry 10, his sister Rachel and the 3-year-old
Uncle Bennie.
Here is how the plot of the story goes. Jerry needs a dollar to buy
Ginger. So tall Sam Doody tells Jerry if he would dust the pews at the
church he’d give him a buck. He did it with help from his sister and
Uncle Bennie. So then he buys a dog, and for a while he calls it dog but
eventually he names him Ginger. One afternoon, Ginger disappears without
a trace. Almost 2 years later Jerry and Rachel find him at the top of
East Rock.
This book was truly inspiring. I was at the edge of my seat as I was
reading it because I had no clue if Ginger was going to get found.
I would recommend this novel to any person who loves dogs. |
