The Hobbit is a cool action book with a lot of adventure. It's writen by J.R.R. Tolkien. It has awesome details and you never know what happens next.

It takes place in a mountain, where an evil dragon lives. They need to get there to steel gold from the evil dragon, but the dragon was the one who stoll the gold in the first place.

The characters in this book are odd. Theirs Bilbo the main character, he's a Hobbit.(Hobbits are harmles creatues with big and harry feet, and the tallest of the grownup is about 5 feet!) Then theirs Gandalf the gray. He's a wizard, he's also the best of them all because he has powers with a sword to come along. Then their are 14 Dwarfs with realy wierd names.

My favorite part was when they where in a mountain to take a shortcut, but then they figured out the mountain was full with goblens. (Goblens are in the family of orcs. Their the smallest in the family and ire-quise are the bigest in the family of orcs.) So they try and get out of the cave.

I love this book. I would defenetly recamend it because it's exiting and has a lot of action.
