Robert Patterson

    Hey!  Have you learned about Robert Patterson?  He was one of the settlers that came from Pennsylvania.  Read on and you will find out more about him.

    Robert Patterson came in a canoe down the Ohio River.

    He fought in the war between the British and the Indians.

    He was one of the first settlers to come to where Lexington is now.

    He built the first block house where Main Street and Mill Street are now in Lexington.

    Also, the last thing is Robert Patterson took Boone's and Simon Kenton's families to new settlements in Ohio, Indiana, or Missouri.  Now you have a taste of who Robert Patterson was.
