How to read motion graphs

When an object moves with a constant velocity, the Position vs. Time graph is linear. The slope of a Position vs. Time graph represents the velocity of the object. The vertical intercept of a Position vs. Time graph represents the starting position of the object.

When an object moves with constant velocity, the Velocity vs. Time graph is a horizontal line. The area between the horizontal velocity function and the time axis represents the displacement of the object during that time interval.
