Students are competing in the Awesome Race and must determine the order of the four stops they will make while traveling around the world. Each stop is in a different country and students can use clues along with maps and library information in order to determine their stops.

Bill of Rights

Students will exam different court cases that deal with the Bill of Rights and constitutional rights. They will decide whether the decisions are constitutional or not and what amendment would back up their decision.

Kentucky Landmarks
Grade Level Usage: 3-5

Your teacher, Ms. Wildcat, loves to collect refrigerator magnets from various Kentucky landmarks. Her collection is incomplete, she is missing one magnet. It is your job to figure out which place Ms. Wildcat needs to visit in order to complete her magnet collection.

Time for a Party

Kids Play Toy Company
Grade Level Usage: 3-5

The president of a toy company has to decide which toy will be the “hot” new toy of the season based on scarcity, resources, and supply and demand. Students must use the information provided to choose which of six toys the president should select.

Escaping Slavery

You must determine a “best route” to escape from your condition of enslavement using all your knowledge of factors influencing successful escape routes. Remember that even a successful route may not result in freedom. Do not be discouraged. You may have other chances.

Students are asked to read email to determine the characteristics of the animal that they will be paid to photograph and then read student-written reports to find the name of the animal. An Internet access fee will be subtracted from your pay for each clue you use to solve the problem.
