By order of his majesty, King George III, the following individuals have been declared traitors to the Crown and shall be arrested and tried for their crimes.

Help!! We have been given the task of preparing the documents with the information on the those individuals who King George III has just declared as traitors to the Crown. We need for you, who are from the colonies, to send us pictures and  biographical sketches of these individuals from the colonies listed below.

Please follow the directions below in preparing your information. It will make our job of publishing to the King's liking...and we all know how important it is to keep the King happy!!

 


Your Task

You will begin by using the references below to write a biographical sketch of the individual(s) you are assigned, as well as finding a picture of the individual(s). You will save this information to disk and then will transfer the information to Microsoft Publisher and will create a brochure for each colony showing the  revolutionaries from that colony.

Search Archiving Early America here type in founding fathers and search again and type in revolutionaries.

You will get information and pictures of some of the individuals on the list.

Your teacher will have a lists of books and the library will have additional encyclopedias.

 


Additional directions on saving pictures and text to disk

How to save a picture

Once you have the picture you desire, using the right mouse button, click once on the picture and a dialog box will appear. Click on save picture and tell it to go to the A: drive. You will want to name your picture. A light will come on the A: drive. This means it is saving your picture. When the light goes out, you may move onto another site, open a word document or take the disk out of the A: drive.
