The Life Cycle of a Butterfly
Introduction
All living things have a life cycle. During some animal's life cycle,
there isn't much change. A butterfly is an animal that changes many times. A
butterfly changes many times. A butterfly changes four times or has four stages of
life. This WebQuest will help you discover the four stages of a butterfly's life.
Task
You are going to research the life cycle of a butterfly at the websites
below. Fill in the Life Cycle Butterfly Fact Sheet as
you look at the websites. Draw or glue the four stages of a butterfly's life to
create a Life Cycle of the Butterfly poster. Create a Power
Point slide show to explain how butterflies grow and change.
Process
1. Go to each website and review the material.
2. Draw or glue the pictures of the stages of the life cycle of a butterfly.
3. Fill in the blanks on the fact sheet.
4. Create a Power Point slide show which explains how a butterfly grows in
stages.
