STLP
at Maxwell
Elementary - A Student Essay
By
Marjorie Stump, 5th grade, second year Maxwell STLP student.
This is my second year in STLP, at Maxwell Elementary
School. I have learned so much about computers since I first started that
I can't imagine that I once didn't know a lot of the things I know now.
Last year was my first year in STLP and I have to admit
that I was a little apprehensive about the STLP program. I thought it
would hard, or that I would get kicked out, or something like that, but it
turned out to be fun. I designed my own web page, helped the big scary 5th
graders, (who are now big, scary 6th graders), work on some of the
teachers' web pages. We worked on cyber reporting, and much more. I still
look forward to days when STLP meets.
This year, STLP students will work on web pages, the
school yearbook, which will include digital photography and editing, and
we will continue to produce the morning daily news for Maxwell.
