Music Website at Picadome Elementary School

I recently had the pleasure of working with Elizabeth Isaacs, the music teacher at Picadome Elementary, on a culminating project with third graders who had been learning about how sound is created through instruments. The students went to the New York Philharmonic Kidzone and used this wonderful, interactive site to create their instruments based on what they had previously learned about They took digital pictures of their instruments and Ms. Isaacs imported them into her web and onto a template page she had created. Using Microsoft Front Page 2000, the students added their names, a title for their instrument, and a description of what sound it might make and why.
