Using Class Web Pages as A Communication Tool (Wednesday, September 15, 4:30-6:00 and Thursday, October 21, 4:30-6:00)  - Designed for teachers who have little or no experience with the class web page, this hands-on session will take you through the process of designing and creating a classroom web page. A great way to communicate with students and parents, the classroom web page brings the school and home together in a learning environment.- with Maggie Whittington.

IMMEX Into the Classroom (Wednesday, September 22, 4:30-6:00) - This problem/project environment represents a $1 million-plus grant to FCPS. 8 Fayette County teachers, along with their students spent the summer designing free web-based resources to help teach critical thinking. Come get a peek at these brand new problems sets and learn how you can use these and other IMMEX problem sets in your classroom! - with Lucinda Sanders

Increasing Student Understanding with Kidspiration (Thursday, September 23, 4:00-5:30) - Kidspire your elementary students with graphic organizers to enhance learning. This program can be used in any content area. - with Barbara Barr.

Organizing Student Projects with NoteStar (Wednesday, October 13, 4:30-6:00) - Teachers looking for a way to organize and track the research their students do on the Internet will love NOTESTAR. It helps students organize their research by creating topics and subtopics, as well as take and organize their notes and sources to create printable notes and a bibliography. Come to this session with a project in mind, and a class roster in hand and you will leave fully prepared to use this valuable tool with your classes. - Lucinda Sanders
