Creating Technology Infused
Units June 22 or June 23,
9:00-12:00 (These two days are not a continuation, there are
separate sections.)
Using multiple technologies in one single unit can increase
student achievement. The combination of interactive software, Smart
Board
Lessons
and Classroom Performance System will increase students' engagement and
content knowledge of the subject matter. This session will provide
hands-on application with these three technologies. Teachers will be
able to design and set up a unit of
study. Teachers need to bring an idea, supporting books and
resources to assist in creating the unit. Free software will be provided
for the Smart Board section. If you have any questions please
contact Suzanne Weaver at sweaver@fayette.k12.ky.us -

Morphing
June 30 -- 9:00-10:00
Students will take pictures with a digital camera of each other's face
then load two pictures at a time in the morphing software. The student
will then place markers on each of the pictures, adjust the markers, then
morph the two pictures into one .avi file. This file can then be looped
back and forth to show the morphing effect.
