There is nothing that will increase the speed with which you can complete your projects like the simple use of keyboard shortcuts.  Here are a few of my favorites:

 

Highlight all text in a text box or table cell CTRL+A (tap the letter A twice in a table or cell)

Cancel selection of a text frame or table Press the ESC key

Find and replace     CTRL+H

Fort Worth, Texas-based Bell/Augusta Aerospace Co. is just weeks away from conducting its first test flights of a civilian tilt-rotor aircraft, called the BA 609. A tilt-rotor has engines that pivot 90 degrees so the aircraft can take off vertically like a helicopter then fly horizontally like a plane.

Change All occurrences of BA 609 to BA 610 by pressing CTRL-H

Then press Replace All to change all occurrences at one time:
