Bob Moore, Henry Clay High School LAN Technician

Bob started with Fayette County Public Schools in July of 2000 as the LAN Service Technician at Henry Clay High School. Prior to that he worked for a software company doing a little bit of everything ("...programming, customer support, staff training, customer training, on site problem resolution for customers that wanted to sue us, fun things like that...") Before that, he was in the Army, where he was trained in Military Intelligence.

Mr. Moore was born and raised in Northern Ohio, moving to Kentucky during high school, and graduating from Glasgow High School (Glasgow Independent Schools, Barren County) in 1992. After a quick dabble in higher education after high school, Bob earned a Computer Programming degree last spring, and is scheduled to finish a Business Administration degree in March. From there he intends to get an MBA.Bob Moore

With work, school, and family responsibilities, Bob doesn't have a lot of time for outside interests. In what spare time he has, he likes to build computers in customized computer cases, do some programming, play computer games ("I don't have a lot of time for that, but it is a good stress reliever..."), and read a lot. He tries to attend son Allen's sports events - football, basketball, and baseball - and helps to coach as many of his teams as possible.

Bob lives in Lexington with his wife of 11 years, Christina, Allen, and daughter Samantha.

Guyanne Vaughan, Technology Resource Teacher

Guyanne VaughanGuyanne is a genuine Lexington native - born and raised right here, attended Henry Clay High School, where she played flute in the band. Her junior year she was a foreign exchange student, studying in Great Britain. After graduation, she attended the University of Kentucky where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education, as well as a Masters and Rank 1 in Reading.

At home, when Guyanne is not "cruising the net", she's entertaining her pet Whippet, Allie. "Allie is a natural with Frisbees.  I'm hoping to enroll her in agility training this summer." Other points of interests include traveling to Europe and across the U.S., reading John Grisham novels, taking long walks on the beach, and working on her computer. "I love my job as Technology Resource Teacher. It allows me the opportunity to share my love of computers with my colleagues, assist them with integration of technology skills, as well as, stay connected with the many friends I have made over the years within the district."
